Actero™ Enrichment Media for the detection of Listeria spp. and Listeria monocytogenes
Food and environmental samples require enrichment before pathogen testing to amplify or grow any existing bacterial pathogens, making it easier to detect Listeria in test samples. All Actero™ enrichment mediums are ISO compliant, quality controlled at FoodChek Laboratories, and provided in two different product lines of the patented “Elite” group of Actero™ Enrichment Media and standard formulations of Actero™ Universal Enrichment Media.
Actero™ Listeria Enrichment Media
The patented Actero™ Listeria Enrichment Media is both robust and versatile, and is compatible with any diagnostic technology and method including culture, lateral flow, ELISA, PCR, and qPCR for the detection of Listeria spp. and Listeria monocytogenes. With the EZ-Media Dry Bag format, the entire medium preparation method takes less than 30 minutes. Just add deionized water through the "in" port and gently massage the bag to mix. For the 5L bags, there are 15 dry media bags per case. For the 20L bags, there are 12 dry media bags. This formulation is the patented "Elite" line of Actero™ enrichment media products. |
